Hey, how have the jack point reinforcements held up? Any oddities or issues?

I've used these types of reinforcements on multiple cars, including this one, without an issue.

It's a simple and high value mod for me. I literally used them again over the weekend. They rest well on Esco jack stands, which have a nice flat top.

Yeah, I noticed you had the same jack stands as me actually so that's what made me interested. Are they permanently attached to the car or do you remove them after lowering it?

Hey, FYI just in case someone else asks. I don't think those jack point reinforcements (at least the ones from your link) will work on 1st gen cars. The pinch weld is too short to touch the bottom of the channel, which is how it seems to be supported on yours.

Great build btw. Sorry to keep pinging on this one part.

Apex Forged SM-10RS 17x9 ET48, anthracite, 12mm spacer up front

Coated with Diamond Protech Wheel. No center caps. The ones they included are too small and I’d just pop them out for the track anyways.

New track setup. I’ve been bumming trailer space from a friend that owns a 28’ enclosed. I drove to Leroy Engineering near Cleveland and picked up this beauty of a trailer, their Grid 295 model. It’s connected to my Slambert tow bar.

I took the plunge and installed a Trackspec hood vent. This one is designed for a FK8 Civic Type R, but suits our hood well. If I had to do it over again, I’d move it forward an inch or so, but this should still work well. Its behind the radiator and first 1/3 of the hood so its low pressure.
