Motul 5w-40 Oil for turbo engine
Hi all,
Ive done a ton of searching about this but no one really gives an answer with a explanation I have just taken my car to get a service and a few bits and pieces installed They have put Motul 5w-40 oil into my engine , has anyone run this ? Thanks in advance |

Seems like a good decision to me. I run Rotella T6 10w-40. Turbo oil temps get hot So 40 will survive a little longer and keep viscosity better.

That temp is fine for a 20 or 30 wt oil.

I tun 5w40 T6 in my built motor Forester XT.
Fantastic oil for turbocharged engines, and 5w40 is a great weight. Motul is also world class so I would be very happy with that change personally. A bit more expensive if you do frequent changes.
