I just picked up a set of used, black RPF1s in a 17x8 +45 for autocross this season (will add 245/40 RS3s). I also ordered a Strano front 22mm sway bar. Those mods will keep me in C stock for the year, should be fun.

I also picked up some weathertech mats (awesome) and the PIAA wipers with the spoilers on them, the Super Sporza I think, which haven't arrived yet.

We should do a winter meet up somewhere. Maybe Whole Foods parking lot? It's underground and heated.

Bad thing is I cannot seem to keep the car clean long enough to even leave my apartment's parking lot

I hope you meant 17x7 for the rims. Any width other than that and it is no longer C stock.

Glad you said something about the weathertech's! I was never notified by them that they were finally for sale! Order placed! =)

I'm running with the Madison Sports Car Club and were afforded +2 points which can be gained in a variety of ways. +1 for each sway (so just +1 for my front sway) and then +1 for every full inch of wheel diameter or wheel width. I could actually go to a 7.5" wheel and still have a point to spend, but I got the wheels at a good deal so I decided they could be my other point.

Basically if we ran a Touring and Stock class there wouldn't be enough people so they combined the two and allowed 2 points in the stock class...which in essence means there is no stock class.

Guy in a nice Legacy GT this morning looks at my car in the parking lot:

"You should have waited for the turbo."
"They likely aren't releasing a turbo."
"I read they were going to in 2013"

/facepalm

If other subie enthusiasts don't even know what's going on with our car, I have no hope for the general public.

Hahaha you have no idea how many times I hear that said...but more referring to be buying the scion and not the Subaru.

They say, "ahhh i would never drive a scion if I were you I would just get the Subaru, i hear they are awd and will be turbo with the sti"

people believe anything they read i guess

Just make sure you get the black tie or better as that has the elite shield which is the paint protectant like opti coat.
