Changing oil on all 3 cars today. Starting with the old lady.

(This one is fine mileage wise but it's been like a year, the Herro Kitty Imprezza is overdue, and my BRZ is due)

Wooooo! 1440p looks gorgeous. Wish I could run it higher than medium. Averaging 45fps, so not sure I want to push it much more than that.

Pretty sure everyone believes the climate is changing. It's the rate that's in question. When scientists said the ice caps would be gone and Los Angeles would be under water by the year 2000... It kinda discredited them. And then a couple of them admitting to during their data to maintain funding.

So found out this morning, when someone is high on coffee... it's impossible to comprehend my "Engrish" or Japanese sarcasm.

Then you want to be very sure they understand your sarcasm or things can go wrong very quickly.

At the risk of forgetting my own sarcasm:

You're right, its changing. However the overwhelming scientific consensus, and this includes peer-reviewed data and repeated tests that have given the same results, have shown that human activity is the largest single contributor.

I also think you misunderstand what "discredit" means. If there was indeed a group of scientists that said that LA would be underwater by 2000, first I would like to see your source, and then I would like to see the scientists who said so. They might actually *gasp* have changed their minds after reviewing data. Changing your mind does not discredit a scientist, in fact it only affirms their credentials. A true scientist is willing to concede their point and stand behind solid research. Now if the "scientist" still held that belief when the vast majority of research doesnt fit their view--well, then they are discredited, in my opinion. At that point is more about their ego (and sometimes money, they are only human) than the facts. I myself until about a decade ago questioned human-caused climate change, but I now accept it after seeing the professional scientific community prove that it is due to our actions.

Biting their head *off*. One is idiom, the other is assault. Careful!
