A c38 will provide head room, but to what end? As it turns out, I will be upgrading to a c38 so I can run high rpm. Thought my experience might be useful to you. Good luck!
Thanks... What supporting mods Did you have for your setup? What kind of power were you putting down and what tune were you using?

How often are you tracking the car?

Primarily Tracking/racing the car? Standalone oil cooler.

Primarily street driven? Dual radiator/oil cooler.

Both are in stock!

If Jackson Racing's track car is using the rad/OC combo, why is it recommended to run a dedicated OC setup?

Our T4 NA car has the Dual Radiator Oil Cooler installed. Our Supercharged STU car is running the Track Oil Cooler.

When you increase horsepower, Oil Temps go up more. If you have a dedicated supercharged race car, or are tracking the supercharged car frequently, you would benefit from the Track Oil Cooler, especially if you live in warmer climates.

If you daily drive the car and occasionally track the car, the Dual Radiator/Oil Cooler would work great as well. If you live in colder climate areas, this would also be a good choice as well.

Picking which is right for you is dependent on the duties of your car.

Ah, I didn't know the T4 car was NA, thank you for the clarification. This is good to know since my (non-existent) track car will stay NA and my daily can keep the combo when I eventually SC it.

My failure wasn't tune related, I believe it was oil pressure related. Pretty sure I spun a rod bearing that caused the rod to break. I was greater than 350hp to the wheels. JR oil cooler, catch can, full exhaust, fluid damper, fuel pump and injectors, on 5w30. If you aren't willing to deal with a catastrophic engine failure, rethink high boost &/or e85. I personally always felt this was inevitable, just thought I would get more time out of my setup.

Definitely a daily driver, with the possibility of a track day a couple times a year... at most. I do drive the car pretty hard, and noticed some power drop off in the Summer months. I live in Oregon, so Summer Temps aren't brutal, but figured it sure can't hurt to have some additional cooling. Sounds like the Rad/Cooler combo is the best option. Thanks guys for the advice!!

what would be the best exhaust setup for c38? 2.5, 2.75 or a 3in system?

If you're in the market for an exhaust I would just get the 3in OP/FP and a 3in CBE. but it will be stupid loud.

We can catch up and you can experience this setup yourself. Sometime after all this snow/ice stuff
