$1315 for Nav, HIDs, and other small touches is not a bad deal. I think there will be some upset FR-S pre-order holders. But not too many. It's still $1315 in their pockets for their own Nav and other mods.

But this is before $750 destination charge! I'm a little dissapointed. $26,245 for Premium manual. This car has gotten more expenssive with every passing month and it is no longer an "Affordable" sports car. But I'll probably still buy it...

Don't forget the awesome trunk liner like I always do!

$1,315 extra just for the fitting front end instead of the bulging FR-S lights is worth it to me by itself lol

Ah, my bad. I didn't realize that the Scion price included the destination charge. The price difference is pretty fair once you add the BRZ's destination charge.

I think I'm spoiled because I started following it a month ago, and did not have the low expectation price some people that have been following it for years had.

For real, I am extremely happy with the price (obviously lower price never gets old but I find it fair).

Nah. The Scion will be marginally lighter. It has a different front end that appeals to some folks. Some people would rather own a Toyota than a Subaru even if it is called a Scion and made by Subaru.....wait....what? The drifting crowd and the racer wannabees will likely buy the Scion and use that $1300 towards coilovers, wheels, tires and aero stuff.

I originally wanted the BRZ but after months of looking at pictures of the cars and then seeing them at two auto shows I would now buy the FR-S if I was going to buy one.

I like how Subaru did like what I said, "price it 500 bucks more than FR-S."
BRZ does look prettier now.
