Oh, how I wish this was true. And would be very happy if it was. I think it's more likely the Cubs will win the World Series though.

There's more people at Annapolis than Fitzgerald and those are the only two I've talked to. In addition I think Annapolis has some more serious buyers (e.g. Myles@RaceComp Engineering).

Where there's smoke there's fire right? If we start hearing it from enough dealers that end of Feb is when the info wave is coming then it's probably true.

Called Fitzgerald Subaru, independently of the person I was dealing with at Fitzgerald Scion (who said he put me on the pre-order list...), and the lady indicated that it was a $1000 deposit. They've taken $500 deposits thus far; getting a bit greedy I see.

Rene. I called back and talked to Maria, she said $500. The lack of organization surrounding this car is boggling. I have to talk to my guy over at Scion, because he was handling the Subaru stuff for me too.

Makes me wonder if I should deposit at MD dealer or VA now lol since the one next to my house doesn't seem too good if they giving orbital the run around.

Ya good to hear you got the 500 deposit. Maria has been very helpful/ responsive. You should do your best to continue working with her... although dont expect a deal, I was told to expect MSRPish pricing.

I actually didn't put down a deposit; I'm waiting to hear from my Scion guy about the Scion and what's going on with my deposit on that.
