I think this is the way OEM fog lights normally work. I think glare from low-beams in the fog can be reduced by using the leveling adjustment to point them down. So, there may not be a need to make the mod to turn them on with the parking lights.

Why can't the aftermarket figure out a way to brighten the boomerangs and keep them on during day time along with the DRL's?

The BRZ would look stunning that way!

If it were up to me I'd just have everything on all the time except headlights, Audi-style.

Apparently this can be done with some re-wiring. Electrician skills are not my strong suit, so I'll leave this to the experts.

Here you go, does exactly that. I like it. If someone want's just the 'boomerangs' on - it's gonna be harder than that.

I guess I phrased my post badly. What I meant was, "everything on the front"-- DRLs, and halos. I don't really like the idea of running the tails and sidemarkers all the time :\

This will mean cutting OEM wires, which many are averse to.
Sidemarkers and halos are on the same circuit. One can make it independent of tails tho.

I guess sides wouldn't be so bad. Tails being on during the day would be dumb, though.

Ive just been driving around the boomerangs and LEDs. I think thats the best looking setup. Not sure if the boomers stay on with the headlights.

I do the same. They are bright enough during night city driving that cops don't even bother me.
