I got the Stainless Steel sphere with engraving and Gun Metal finish. Not cheap, but damn is it worth it. Works great with the reverse ring as well, very heavy feel, love it!

Here's a couple of pics of mine:

Now this I like! Does Flossy offer their shift knobs in a polished finish, similar to eriktherod's?

My Evo x is sponsored by flossy and I only put the best inky Evo. The quality with glossy is unmatched.

To fix the alignment problem you can go to lowes and buy a insert that is threaded and you tighten it up with an Allen key. Tighten it to the height you want and then put the knob on. I will attach a pic in about 20 minutes of the part I'm talking about

Here is what I was talkin about to get your knob centered, you just have to find the right diameter for your knob

Let me know if you have questions

Thanks man! My buddy at work had some Teflon tape, and we got it centered with that, perfectly. But I feel like I would have to reapply the Teflon tape every time I took the knob off. This looks like a better permanent solution.
