ONE FREAKING WEEK!!!!

That's all it took for some retard to open their door into my car and put a ding in it!!!!! ONE FREAKING WEEK!!!!

Couldn't I have at least had a month to make the first payment before the honeymoon was over? Is That just too much to ask retards?

Sucks for sure... Look on the bright side.. Now you got an almost perfect car which goes faster and dirt doesn't show as bad..
Sorry.. Don't mean to make light of it... But it's hell out there...

I'm so sorry to hear that. I just got my FR-S yesterday and I'm knocking on every piece of wood I see!

happened to me except my first week involved rock chips on the hood close to the windshield and then about 2 weeks later someone door dinged me.

I know how you feel. The first week I had my car a rock or something flew up and dented my hood then bounced up and put a small chip in my windshield.

That's why I'm paranoid regarding where I park. Even there though, sometimes shit just happens, like fucking rock chips on the highway.

2nd week I got a scratch in the center of the hood presumably from a rock on the highway. Sucks, but that's really what happens to all cars unless you keep them in the garage only. They will get the paint dinged one way or another. I haven't had anyone ding my doors yet (Knocking on wood) and I park in a lot that has about 1 foot between cars. I have no idea how it hasn't happened yet. People must be super careful getting out of their cars there.

A good PDR shop can have it out in a blink of an eye.

I'm crazy and decided to keep my old car, it's not worth anything but it's still reliable. You should see how many door dings the old girl has copped in 20+ years, people are so thoughtless. So now, guess which car goes to the shops? It's weird having to pick which car to take depending what's on the agenda each day - first world problems huh? :-)

First world problems indeed. Though that's really the smart way to do it. I did the wrong thing and traded the reliable 2002 Chevy Cavelier for $1100.00. Now I wish I hadn't to be able to make the choice as you do.

If you thought door dings were a problem, wait until you give a friendly wave to a fellow 86/BRZ driver - while you're driving your old beater! I take the old girl to work twice a week to keep the miles down on the 86, and last week in a somewhat tired state I gave the wave to a red 86 at the lights. The dude gave me a half-hearted/confused wave back which proves how awesome and personable us twin owners are, but he must have been wondering double-u- tee-eff. I was so embarrassed...

Try running over a tire cap on the expressway the first month of owning it.... I did... scratched it to hell. Those scratches aren't coming out either. I parked too close to the side door on the house and the screen blew back and hit the passenger door. Pissed me off! I used some scratch x 2.0 and it buffed right out! That stuff is amazing! Sorry for your ding man, hopefully you can find a good shop to remove it without too much hassle.

Had three door dings before I decided to get these, already prevented 1 more (although it did put a tiny chip in the trim.
