I like it in theory but not sure I'd like the attention it would attract. Maybe easier to put over in FL or CA.

Is that what happens with vinyl wrap that has been left on the car too long? I have no idea...I'm too old for the whole 'wrap thing'. Not to be confused with 'rap'...lol.

Worse, it's actually a new car with 13 miles on it at a dealership. They should know better.

They say it right there in the listing: "ONE OF A KIND SCION FR-S CHROME PACKAGE $5400"

They would charge you $5400 to do this to your car, so it can't be anywhere that expensive for them. I still don't see how they take a $25K car, add a $5400 wrap even at retail and come up with $40K.

As Gregg Allman once said- wrap is short for cwrap.

If your gonna mirror-polish a car, why not do it with some style?

Besides, the gold-plated versions weren't good for flux dispersal:

But... think of finger smudges. They'll be EVERYWHERE. If the reflection doesn't drive me insane the finger smudges will.

So I sent the guy a message to ask about the price of this car. Here's his response:

"The MSRP on this FRS is 31368, This has the upgraded Wheels, TRD, Navi, plus the 5400 Chrome package, I will adjust my pricing to reflect this. We can Charge on an addendum for the Chrome Package."

I think he's also charging for the extra capital letters.

Looks like a brand new FR-S and the car is listed for $36,768. They are saying the wrap is $5,400 and it has those TRD wheels that they are probably adding about $2,000 to the price for... The price is inflated big time yeah! Its a dealership. What do you expect? They'll crazy glue on your lips and hand cuff you before they rape you and then tell you "your welcome" after. Some hipster will buy it thinking they got a great deal.....
