Why not GS intake? (just randomly curious). Needed no MAF scaling on my '14, and hopefully that still holds true on the new car. And it sure cleans up the engine bay.

I like my Ace 350, GS intake, and Thermal exhaust - they nailed the helmholz tuning - transmission noise (note, I have the whiteline diff insert setup which makes it notably louder) is far and above the loudest bit, and it's somewhere in the mix with the noise from my MPSS (surface dependent). Waiting to fix my expensive custom catted front-pipe from a very well respected vendor, since it doesn't even bolt up to the stock overpipe... just a small design oversight. Tuning still in progress, held up by the lovely weather we've had here in Chicago. No customization of the undertray needed that I can tell (with STi engine mounts).

Enjoy your build!

I am held up by the weather as well. I have a new license plate frame to install.

Since you all seem to be the well-travelled type and we are looking for ideas and recommendations.

What/where should Spuds and soon-to-be Mrs Spuds (wow that looks weird to type out) do/go for a honeymoon this Fall?

Internet, I choose you!

It was an awesome surprise gift.

I'm also looking forward to STi engine mounts and the Whiteline diff inserts.

Tuning? I don't know exactly what my path will be. I'll be taking it slowly because I'm much more interested in the 'how' than the 'what.'

...... shame on you, Teseo, for insinuating such a thing!

Back-in-the-corporate day ....... we had 2+ hour lunches.

That was a holdover from when the corporate HQ was in NYC and it took 2 hours just to get something to eat.

So, when the corporate HQ moved to Westport, CT, that tradition carried over, although we had a cafeteria in the complex.

Why did it carry over? Because, the upper management types needed that long to go into town and have their 3 martini lunches. The top management had a private dining room equipped with a bar.

So what were the peons to do for 2-3 hours ...... ??

Some of the secretaries (yes we all had secretaries ..... that sat outside of our offices), would go across the highway and sunbathe on a beach of Long Island Sound.

Then some of the middle management boys and girls would find "other" things to do for 2-3 hours. ....... what can I say ...... .

At least WE came back to work in the afternoon, sober and not sunburnt .....

THE END
