No duck tape. The banana looking things are quadline kite handles.
Really should get some tape in there though. Hold my beer.

I too carry a couple of stunt kites in my truck( along with a full compliment of tools). Many times there will be a long wait between sessions. If all is well and I do not have to fix something it helps to pass the time.

I think that you will find more opportunities to use your kit if you just added the following:

Night vision googles
Gaffer tape

Forgot to add:

Driving gloves

I have the same kit except I replaced the tarp with those oversize trash bags. You should give them a try. So much easier.
Oh, and get a red lens for he flashlight so it doesn't attract so much attention.

Subaru Roadside Emergency Kit
Subaru Severe Weather Companion
5'8" beautiful woman in her 30's - severe weather companion non-subaru
Box of 3 flares - I think I should have more. They do not last that long.
Large heat reflective durable tarp thing with blaze orange back
Several boxes of waterproof matches
Two boxes of emergency candles - if you know how to use them, they are really great. Canadian forest ranger / troopers recommend them for overnight in a car without heat in the cold.

Delivery of BRZ is scheduled (vaguely scheduled or something) for April 15! Woot!

Oh, I forgot:
Two winter hats. Even in warmer weather, sleeping in a car at night without a hat is rough.
Locking blade folding knife
Weird little swiss army style fork/knife/spoon set got as a gift. Kinda neat.

I've mainly got supplies for towing people up out of snowdrifts and ditches in my truck, along with a little shovel, snow brush, and ice scraper. I might be able to take that stuff out for non-winter soon though.

I have a subwoofer, a pile of napkins and a spare phone charger. I feel pretty well prepared.
