You are exactly right... I have to drive to Texas the following day. But I have to do that in my work car. I dont want to drive down saturday to turn around and have to drive home after the event and then drive to Texas... Plus I'm working in Oregon right now. Been here 4 months. I'll get home just in time to pack and get ready for my job in Texas.

Yes most certainly! My work car is a 6sp Toyota Matrix XRS. Its comfortable and get good gas mileage. But 2 drives back to back like that is no bueno! I'm still debating. If I push that job back a week I could come down there with my g/f. She isn't really into cars though, might have to leave her ass at home... lol

It is only a car, and I am confident in my car, my Full Blown turbo kit, and my FA20Club tune. I remember people being surprised when I let a buddy borrow my C6 Z06 for the weekend for his wedding.
