Back and forth to my Wrangler...makes the Jeep feel like a tractor! Also I kept thinking there was something wrong with the Jeep brakes b/c the BRZ stops so easily.

Don't have an FR-S yet, but the suspension exceeded all my expectations!! My gf has an auto 01 civic coupe. She needs new shocks and so it floats along the road like an old caddy limo. Slow as all hell too cause her tranny needs an overhaul.

My Sentra had Koni yellows, Tanabe springs, fsb/rsb and a front tower bar and I thought it outhandled half the cars in the world. Very responsive and fun to drive. But I test drove an FR-S and I didn't wanna go back. The suspension was on-point, the steering was perfect, it rides stiff but not harshly. I was scared to turn the wheel too much cause I felt the car would respond too well! The clutch kinda threw me off a bit cause my sentra has a stage 3, but it was so much easier to use.

Walking back to my sentra was the worst walk of my life.. and my car truly feels like a pos now haha

Gotta say though, it's impossible to stall the M3, just let go of the clutch and the car will go on its own, no fuss, no burping and stalling. It was weird to see.

Quite a difference experience!

The E36 M3 is one of the best handling cars ever made IMO

Although I do love the steering feel of the FR-S

Makes me appreciate the razor sharp steering and tracking we have... and the throttle response is so crisp in comparison.
It's not that the Honda is bad.. its because the FRS just feels so good !
This little sports car exceeds the sum of its parts..
Well said.

Oh, it is amazing to drive. But the car feels so much different in the way that everything is heavy, clutch, brakes, gas pedal, even the shifter has a longer throw.

It also helps that the car is a '94 model (Euro spec too, a bit more powerful than the NA model) and my car is new. That makes a difference

Ha i completely agree with the OP. My car is in the shop today getting a clear bra put on and they gave me a Camry to drive until it's finished. It feels so floaty and I feel like I'm riding in a truck. it's weird going back to a "normal" car.

Every car has its purpose, but, due to the FR-S being so different from many other cars on the road, it is hilarious to compare them.

We have both ends of the spectrum with a FR-S and a Toyota Sienna SE. The Sienna handles well compared to other vans, but, compared to the FR-S, it handles like an ocean liner.

Sure, it is probably faster than the FR-S, but, it is difficult to put the power down being so heavy and FWD and don't even talk about center of gravity - it's probably at the same level as the FR-S's roof.

There was one time that I accidentally tried to go through a roundabout at the same speed as I normally do in the FR-S and pretty much scared the crap out of my family.

I feel the Fr-s spoiled me, everytime i drive another car I feel dissatisfied and nervous. I guess my next car has to have equal if not better driving feel otherwise i simply won't be happy. Being that I'm young, the Fr-s already started me off to having high standards when driving a car. The Fr-s definitely spoiled me.

I had a 79 F150 4x4 that I sold shortly after getting the FR-S and it felt positively agricultural compared to the car. Of course I never expected it to be anywhere close in terms of handling, but the steering feel was like tilling the rudder of a large ship and the 4 speed seemed like it had to move across entire counties before you could get to the next gear. My 94 Mustang feels a lot bigger than it used to, it turns as well as my FR-S (with the help of LOTS of performance rubber), but not in the same confidence inspiring manner. I'm giving the 94 to my brother in exchange for some work on my classic Mustang
