Do you have pics of your setup / the parts?

I'm still a suspension noob, but the tierods don't help change / correct the suspension geometry at all, right?

I'm still looking for the best camber solution for the front for my RSR Sports-I coilovers, then on to angle mods.

these are badass, but price will be a factor

I know for VW you could get a set of fronts from H2Sport for 800 bucks, which was reasonable, I hope these aren't going to be astronomical in cost because the RD is pretty extensive.

Before

After

Put a few other things in at the same time. All the extra lock came from the tierods.

Better picture, comparing to stock

That little bit of difference gave quite a bit more lock. Sure its not wisefab "look at all my stupid lock" lock. But it has definitely made it more enjoyable to chuck around etc. Again, I don't feel like I need more than I have now.

The thing to remember, is these knuckle kits will alter other geometry, most likely for the worse. If all you want is to not hit steering lock as easily as you are now, then get the tie rods.

Depending on the tyre size you run, you may now get some rub. I run a 225/40/18 on a 18x9 + 35, lowered about 35mm, and I don't still don't rub.

Is the added lock because the inner tie rod end lets the rack extend further?

Because a longer tie rod alone won't do jack provided you correct the alignment.

Thanks for the info and dope pics @diss7

Yeah, I have heard changing tie rods is the cheaper / easier way to go. There is a guy who did a minor knuckle modification and S14 tie rod conversion with similar results. I don't NEED super crazy angle, but it's always nice to have legit options.

so is this strictly for steering angle or will this offer control arm pickup point correction as well for lowered vehicles?

Depends. I've seen some front knuckles that lower pickup points. Not all of them though. I've seen a lot of knuckle kits that are simply cut and re welded OEM knuckles.

Rear drop spindles will lower the connection points for your control arms.
