I read the first 100 replies and didn't see this question addressed: I apologize if I missed it. Is the custom sway bar required, or is that just to offset the extra weight up front with the kit? Can other aftermarket sway bars be used is my main question, really.

The oem sway bar is straight, the one included dips down to clear the turbo.

I was afraid that was the case.

Our turbo system requires that we manufacturer a custom sway bar to clear the placement of the turbo. With that said, we made our sway bar is 21mm which is larger than stock (18mm) and most will run a larger diameter bar when upgrading their sway bars. Our kit also includes whiteline adjustable end links. So you're basically getting upgraded front swaybars and end-links in the price of the kit. There was no point in us making a custom front sway bar in the stock diameter since most of our customer upgrade their suspensions along with adding more power.

Right, I understand, and that's a really nice bonus that there's a sway bar with the kit. It just makes any previously purchased sway bars obsolete. What rear bar do you guys recommend running with it?

Also, a lot of sway bars are only sold as a set.

We offer a rear 18mm bar, but we are currently out of stock on it. It depends on your other suspension and wheel tire setup, but you can stick with stock rear or 16mm to 18mm rear. It all depends on your driving style. Their are plenty of manufacturers that sell the front and rear separately, such as Whiteline, Progress, Perrin, just to name a few.
