Thanks. I changed mine to 98% so it all worked out. Quick and easy fix. I always read through so many pages of material on here and of course the one time I don't, it's already been discussed...

Hey guys, sorry to bring back a long dead thread, but I just got OFT and want to learn more about how to tune and what to look for. So I'm looking o get some input on my values and VD graph to see if there is anything I should tweak in romraider, as I'm a tuning newb. Thanks

http://www.datazap.me/u/gordszenith/...data=1-2-3-5-7

Btw I'm running 93 octane map and fuel.
Also as a side note, my AFR doesn't show up in VD even though I've changed the name like instructed.

EDIT: I was able to add in the AFR for each run. However, I have a question now, why would 91 make more power and torque than the 93? is it because its been more refined? @Shiv@Openflash @steve99

no idea why 91 suposedly made more power, maybe data error or jist variation in temps or some other factor

I don't know about anyone else, but there's this 4.8 mi long bridge on the way to work..... it has a big radar-deflecting hump about halfway....

I was thinking the same. So to eliminate I've flashed back to 91 and will post that log tomorrow. But for now here the data logs that I used for VD. I was also hoping someone could shed some insight on them, and why the 93 knocks so bad, as I'm fairly new to this.

93 tune 94 octane and cold weather. It knocks a lot and cuts the timing.

91 tune with 93 octane.

Thanks.

Thanks.
its only minor knock -0.6 and iam is still 1

next time log afr instead of widebandafr as thats for an aem wideband sensor.

the only diff between 91/93 tune is ignition timing over 5000 rpm

Hey thanks for looking into that.....sorry if you saw this before, I Just finished nights.
I do have AFR logged it's just named as Lambda (Bank1)(AFR) so it would work in VD. Also, I have a KN drop in filter, would that affect the LTFT so it's more negative? I also note that the induction noise is a lot more at 4000 RPM than with 91......thoughts?

Strange the induction noise arround4k would be differnet between 91\93 tunes, this is generally due to cam timing which should be same. Maybe check the tune tables to see the vvt intake and exhaust tables are same

Here is what I got after a run in 3rd on a flat highway from about 3.5K rpm. I feel like its reading a little high as I have a catted UEL header. It's interesting to see how the torque dip has been flattened out a good bit though if it's accurate.

Mods are: Apexi air filter, Perrin inlet hose, JDL Catted UEL header, Perrin overpipe, catted front pipe, and 2.5" catback. And then the OFT stage 2 tune.
