Everytime I get a email update on my phone I get excited that it might be my update from delicious. Hopefully soon so I can get my intercooler and 70mm pulley installed this week.

Where might one purchase this 1.65 bar map sensor? Is this the honda 11 psi sensor?

The only kind of MAP Sensor that will work is a heavily dampened one. Either electronically or with a tiny orifice. The problem is not sensor quality, but sensor placement being a few inches from the head. It needs to be in a plenum and not a runner to work right, or it needs a dampening chamber.

I've repurposed an old propane torch bottle in order to add damping to a pneumatic control signal, but that would probably be too big. Lol

OK, understand your point, complete valid. But we never had good luck with some of the aftermarket "upgraded" drop in units on the market. Even on the STI (further away from the heads), they had an issue with completely failing or having inconsistent signals between sensors. So we just gave up on them and stuck with OEM, they work well and rarely fail.

Cheers,

Hi Dustin,

Sorry missed that. In regards to exhaust systems. I would prefer to not name any brands, but we tested three different brands (early adopters to the market) we saw good power numbers. But when we added on the stock exhaust, usually by accident (literally), track incident or what have you, we retested on the dyno doing nothing else except putting it on the vehicle and it would increase the power, torque and throttle response across the board.

The exhausts that were on the cars (we removed) were all 3 inch exhaust systems. We never tried any 2.5 inch.

Cheers,
William Knose
