Rear rattle/clunky noise

Ok, so recently I went for couple of spirited driving on some nice twisty roads. After say 15 minutes of driving I started to hear a strong clunky/rattle noise coming from the right hand side of the vehicle. It was very noticeable when I was taking the left corners (which were putting some pressure on the right hand side). I stopped the car for 10 minutes, inspected it but nothing.
Continued driving but after say another 5 minutes the noise came back. It just went away when I got onto the motorway.

On the second drive, I heard the same but only after I give it 10 minutes of twisties, otherwise there is no noise when on motorway/highway or I don't drive to the limits.

Does anyone know where that noise could come from? I checked all the rear sub-frame bolts but they all seem to be tight. Don't know why really!

Might be a bad shock absorber. Does the car seem to bounce a lot in corners?

Check your sound generator tube. If you look at where it is bolted to the intake manifold you will probably notice a worn spot on it. I have found that mine is VERY loose. I can just barely tap on mine and hear it hitting and making one of the many rattles I've started to hear. This sound worried me most though because it almost sounds like a bad rod knock that the old EJ motors were so famous for.

Coming from the rear not front of the car.

To some degree yes, I think that might be it. I will check with Toyota again.
But why after 10-15 minutes of abuse?

Yeah, that is it! In my case is driver side (RHD car ) but yes...it sounds like somethings loose and it goes away if I let it sit for 10-15 minutes. I thought it might be the exhaust, checked it and nothing. Sometimes if i go over bumps it feels like the shock absorber is loose or something.

I will go to see the stealer sometimes over the next few days and let you know.
