If you got a deal on the 86 and are comparing it to full price on a FRS that isn't really a fair comparison though.
Sure it is paid $25300 for my new 86 which is about the same msrp as the FRS was going for when they were new.

You paid that but it is not MRSP. You have to compare MRSP between the two not what each individual actually paid.

I do not recall the actual numbers but believe the MRSP went up someplace around $800 between the 16s and the 17s. That would be pretty much what would be expected for the "upgrades".

Any news? I'm the guy who ordered a white PP a day apart from you. I still don't have an estimated delivery date (other than some time in July).

Just got my VIN today, expected on or before 8/7! Ordered mine 4/20. Feel like a kid at the beginning of December waiting for Christmas.

So I'm in the market for a BRZ. Should I wait for the 2018s or order a 2017 come the fall when I have my desired amount for a down payment? Also, how long do you think it might take? I see these 10 week waits for the car. Why does that happen? Do dealers not have the specs you asked for or what?

This is my first time I'd be buying a car on my own so forgive me for these nooby questions. My first two cars were handed down to me for free.

Typically you order when you want a specific color / configuration that isn't available at the dealer you're buying from.

Some of us ordered the car specifically with the performance package at a time when it wasn't available anywhere yet as well. So it took longer that way.
