I was just saying, everyone has different preferences. Your 530i probably has leather seats. Some folks prefer cloth, some folks prefer bun-warmers in their FRS.

My FR-S has cloth seats... I would pay for bun-coolers though....

This whole warmer thing depends on where you live, not preference...

adding aftermarket heated seat elemnts is relatively easy to do. i wired mine up to oem switches so it looks factory and they get pretty hot. i haven't tried the oem brz ltd ones but I heard they don't heat up well enough. then you just have to disable the pass. seatbelt warning via techstream afterwards.

I'm so annoyed that I owe so little on my 2013 already and this one came out making me want to trade mine in. I shall fight the urge.

I tried to skim through this thread and did a search but couldn't find whether the dasboard panels have been changed closer to a faux carbon fiber look. Anyone know?

Yes people have done so at dealerships. But like the 10 series it's going to come down to how educated the dealership is in whether or not a series exists lol.

If folding it down adds a storage compartment or two more cupholders it's worthwhile.

EDIT: nm I see it's just a piece of alcantra sewn onto the ds hump.

Grr, apparently no red stitched leather e-brake/boot. I'd much rather have that than the red-stitched leather rear seat arm rest. But it shouldn't be that hard/expensive to swap out at least.
