Like the ground effects, keep the wing. Not that radical a departure form the other version though. One thing it does point out, is that they really took out the "hockey stick" (as described by C & D) line on the lower part of the body... #epicfacepalm at the designers. ***sigh***

Yup, I am thinking this is the Subaru, not only does it have the new STI's wing on it, but I believe both the first pictures and these the car has the SPEC C wheels, someone correct me if I am wrong.
Also, how do we know the 86 symbol, either isn't, or wasn't given to, if it was Toyota's, Subaru's? I'm just throwing out possibilities. EDIT: And as I go back and read the first spy photo posts see the wheels have already been addressed :P. |

From what I can make out of the bodywork under the swirls, it looks pretty good. And I actually like the wing.

the wing looks good but maybe a bit too big... the power to size ratio makes the wing look like a prop only to attract attention. In my opinion useless and unappealing

IMO Toyota tested the car with a big wing, to see how the car perform in track with more down force... then might test the car with different sizes of wings!! we never know!!
maybe later they will decide which wing is the best for the car!! the rear tail lights look scary!! i hope Toyota use some LED!! |

I'm really hoping the fog light/turn signal in the fascia is an option... would rather have functional vents I think.

just no for me, first pic looked bland now it looks like a bland car thats trying too hard. IMO thats even worse. I'm not confident the styling of this car will improve to a point where I like it based on this, but I could be wrong. Maybe once I buy the car the styling will grow on me. at least the wing doesn't obstruct the rear view

I just hope we can get the hottest version *without* the wing and additional plastic gew-gaws on the rockers and the lower sides of the nose!
