Injen Evolution Intake

http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/inje...l#.VyEbosspBnE

This looks like a solid intake that isn't a "hot air" intake like quite a few on the market. Anybody have this intake or more information about it? Seems reasonable priced and functional. If not, my stock air box with a panel filter will do haha.

Dyno looks impressive if true. Do you think the filter slides into the black box?

I'd be interested to see what a tuner has to say about it in regards to the turbulence and tuning ability it has. I know from the past, the Grimmspeed intake that was on my car was considered really good when comparing against the stock box.

Is that snorkel even necessary in reducing IATs? There's just so many intakes for this platform now and I know how extensive Grimmspeed was with their testing which is why I went with theirs when I did.

I guess we'll see what happens once more data is available.

Yeah I'm not betting on them actually making those numbers. However, it does seem like a good looking intake. I just dont trust their numbers haha.

I love the fact that it has a gauge to tell you when your shit is dirty lol

But honestly time and again the stock box with drop in has proven to be best bang for the buck. Many jntakes even hurt when dynoing (TRD and GS come to mind as not being bad but not making numbers over drop ins either).

Honestly if I didnt want to clean up the engine bay and it was a groupbuy I never would have got one.
