I've had my eyes on the RC right up through the launch...great looking car. I have not seen many out in the wild. Is yours a 350 or an F? Would you mind posting your impressions of the car and any comparisons you would draw with the FR-S?

Thanks!

It is an F, his Instagram said he traded up from the v6 to the F model.

I loled. I have been looking at that car and got the feeling like it had a lot of the twins personality, but all grown up. It doesn't surprise me someone else stepped up to one. I'd get one too, but I would have to sell all my other cars to buy one. I'm still not against that idea, it's stunning.

Go either alphabetically or in ascending order of "cost per mod to be Lexus-like"

Not a slam on our 86's... but it is what it is and it does it well (within its design spec) and there ARE alternatives that better fit a desire that simply cannot be met (with reasonable $$) with mods to an 86.

This is how I fulfilled my desire for horsepower with some decent handling (i.e, not spending lots of $$ for FI and ancillary mods to the 86)...

Enjoy!!!

I mean I know how I can get one on the cheap so when I find one that runs through and it isn't to bad i'll place a bid on it. At the time when I was looking for a car the BRZ seemed cool and all, at that time I was also cross shopping (looking at insurance auction listings lol) for A IS250 F Sport. When i'm ready though thats deff gonna be my next move. Reminds me of a BRZ's big bro tbh

I had a IS350 then RC350 and finally the RCF. THe first thing you notice are 2 things how quiet the lexus is and the differences in Weight and how nimble the FRS is. The RCF is like large fighter jet, line it up where you are trying to and it growls in that direction. The Weight of the vehicle is definitely noticeable. However the RCF feels more planted, where as the FRS you kinda feel like a rock skipping across the water like a dragonfly. MY RCF i have installed a Nitrous express kit. you car actually feel your neck muscles fighting the Gs. Also alot of people complain about the RCF having a paddle automatic. But this car Full throttle shifts. and in sport mode it shifts HARD. you can definitely feel and see the luxury and care taken in the build quality in the RCF. and for 3 times the cost you should.

The IS250 fsport is very nice. However, do not buy that car if you enjoy acceleration. They make a IS300 which has replaced the 250 motor

is250 204 hp 185trq
2016 IS300 v6 awd only 255 hp 236 trq
2016 IS200t 2.0turbo RWD only 241hp 255tq (bolt on turbo parts availability increasing as we speak!
