Always looking for gymkhana tires as I am into TT. https://www.bridgestone.com/corporat...018030901.html Anyone outside of the US tried these? Aparently there is RE11S, RE07D, RE12D (a quick google search yields they are all pretty track oriented tires). For TT next year running 100+ tires gets us a good bit of benefit and if RE-05D (being over a second faster than RE71R) is what it is I want to try these in comparison to Hoosier R7. Lutfy

Yeah, the Potenzas were clearly faster, but I'd also presume them to be less capable on the road. Not to mention they're probably a bit of a waste on my relatively stock suspension. Given that I prefer to change my tires at home and drive them to the track, plus any tire needs to be road usable in a pinch (I DD my car), the A052 seems like a better choice for my need.

Not to derail too much, but here's more content from Bridgestone's website saying that the RE-05D is noticably faster than the RE-71R...enough so to warrant significant suspension changes. https://tire.bridgestone.co.jp/poten...port01-01.html https://tire.bridgestone.co.jp/poten...port01-01.html To further muddy the waters, there's also mention of a RE-06D here: https://www.cockpit.co.jp/about/76/ And no fewer than 4 different flavors of the RE-11S here: https://www.cockpit.co.jp/about/56/ Clearly, you'd need someone who has access to Japanese market tires to get your hands on these...
