I have the turbosmart raceport BoV, it gives the turkey gobble right after the woosh. Best of both worlds of the "surge" noise and the "woosh".
"wooooshh gobble gobble gobble!"

I'm running a Turbosmart dual port BOV with my Vortech SC. I blocked off one of the ports with the included plug and run either the horn for the "whoosh" sound or the recirc fitting with a breather filter if I want it quiet. Best of both worlds and takes 10 seconds to switch it out with no tools

I have the Tial 50mm BOV on my car, and it is fairly loud. It makes a loud cough under hard load shifting, and under medium loads it makes the stuttering sounds, just perfect IMO.

I'm going to the Summer Kickoff tomorrow in Oakland. I can pick up some there. I'll stop by the shop in this vid.

I dunno about loudest since the HKS SSQV is pretty damn loud with the right insert, but it's still very loud because of it's megaphone. Quote:
That's the sound of not having a BOV or bypass valve and/or antilag. Quote:
Gobble gobble sound means it's not adjusted correctly and you're still getting reversion. The sound from a BOV is directly related to how much boost you're running. Low boost isn't going to be loud at all... |
