Ecutek Bluetooth Interface Kit / ECU Connect

Hey guys, just saw this posted a couple hours ago. Bluetooth module coming soon with iOS support first, Android to follow. Logging with the ability to directly email from inside app, launch control adjustment, boost control adjustment, valet mode, map switching, and the ability for custom options defined in your tune.

Pricing is estimated at $300 USD or £250 GBP. Supports everything ProECU supports. Live gauges said to be coming soon along with Bluetooth flash capabilities.

Yes it says specifically on their website that it supports anything ProECU supports.

Personally I like this over running Torque, which is what I use for gauges on my Android head unit since I refuse to clutter my dash. Also, Torque and DashCommand kind of suck since they can't access SSM specific things like DAM, FBKC, FLKC.

This is kind of a gateway to even better things. I'm hoping Ecutek adds graphical gauges to this system so it doesn't look like a spreadsheet, maybe something similar to how the latest Cobb units display data.

Also carrying around my laptop is getting old.

Yeah the laptop thing does kinda suck. I like the valet mode idea with FI so people don't go try and see what the car can do lol

To have separate valet mode on brz\86 will likely require additional software in ecu, you can do it with current software but it uses up one of the modes vie cruise control stalk.

that video seems gtr specific, but no reason it could not be done on 96\brz

what kind of money do they want for the adapter and software access ?

The GT-R has got new RaceROM V6 files so you will have to use this and this is likely what adds the app/dongle as an input into custom maps. I know there is a new RaceROM patch due for the BRZ so this will provide this functionality.

I'm afraid I have no more info. Litchfield here in the UK have posted up something similar to the video on Facebook. I'll see if I can get hold of one when the BRZ updates are released.

be good if the realtime logging was a bit more sleak like oft and maybe even setable alerts\alarms as well

wonder if those features will be available via the older usb adapters to a laptop ?.

looks like you might still flash via a usb link, looks like i micro usb port on back of bluetooth dongle
