No worries. We would enjoy the company. I bet they have great stories.

Watch a video. Preferably a live concert. I have seen them live twice.

It sure looks like someone added it to make the single wide 2 car deep garage into two rooms. I also I want to know where the leach field and septic tank are in case I want to build a shop in the back of the property.

I was kinda shocked how dirty the place is. The garages are just packed with shit, and there were closets I couldn't even open they are so full of shit. I want assurances they will not leave me any of their shit for me to have to dispose of. That happened to me at the house we are at now. Boy, I say shit too much.

I wanted to know where the buried propane tank is, and how big it is.

The appliances in the kitchen all work, but are old. I will want to upgrade the appliances over the next couple years.

Carpets are worn, and the wood floor in the kitchen needs to be refinished. No biggy in the big picture. They are worn, but not disgusting or anything. Just something we would like to replace over the next few years.

The woodwork around the windows and the vaulted ceilings are really cool and pretty.

It is really out in the country, but you are about 4 to 5 miles from major stores and stuff like Costco, home depot, etc.. It is about 25 miles to downtown Boise. 4 miles to either downtown Caldwell or Nampa. It is kinda cool that both Caldwell and Nampa are really working on upgrading the downtown areas. All the towns here want to have to cool downtown with bars, restaurants, shops, etc..

Certainly will not have all the city noise I have here. When we pulled up, a bunch of quail ran across the yard. The neighbors have a rooster that sounds like he doesn't even take a breath between crows all day long. I don't remember hearing him while inside, but walking the yard you hear him. I can never complain about that, since the rooster is there first, and it is the country.

I figure we will be happy there, but like I told my wife, worst case is after living there for a while, we determine we don't like being that for out of town, we clean it up, sell for a profit, and take our time finding another house.
I LOVE Quail.

The basic stuff you used in elementary school, well, I see no way you don't use that.

High school and college math, yea I could see that at least on some of it. Although, you probably use it and don't realize you are using it every day as @Tcoat suggests.

Just thinking how long it will take you to get from a to b in your car is relatively advanced algebra.

I think the decimal system sucks. I don't have a better solution yet though. Different cultures in the past have different systems of logic. For example there are things you can do in Egyptian style math that you can't do in our system. It's complicated and I can't explain it off the top of my head but I think the fact the 5 or so trancentdental numbers that we know of are incredibly useful and there are more trancendental numbers than irrational than rational than whole numbers says that we are missing something fundamental on the most basic level of number theory. But I digress..

Yes, I use the very basic stuff every once in a while, but my smartphone does the rest for me. I remember my teachers saying, "you won't always have a calculator with you." Just look at how wrong they were...

Do you need you phone to make or receive change? Use it to calculate how many hours of work you have left?

He has really come a long way for a kid the doctors said might not ever even talk when he was an infant.

Me too. Last time I was up at the lake house, a bunch of mountain quail were crossing my property when something spooked them. 4 quail went kamikaze into my sliding glass door. Nice addition to dinner.

Change? What's that? Everything is paid for electronically nowadays.

That's an inspirational story. I would've been proud too.

Last comment, as we've now gone way down the "I'm going to win no matter what" path....

You still have to know enough to push or say the correct "operator", again learned in basic math.

my teachers told me that my mouth would get me killed one day and I'd never amount to anything.

well I'm still alive and doing slightly better than average. odds are also that my car is nicer and newer than theirs if in fact they are still alive/driving.
