Definitely still plan on producing, just playing it by ear if any real interest will be generated. I am working with someone for a total canbus solution that has 100% full integration and I have an adapter plate design ready to go. My personal installation was pretty easy but I want the total swap to be as painless as possible.

Here is the car's current look. I am still in the middle of producing a respectable looking hood. The car makes between 320-340whp on 11 psi and roughly 350ft lbs of torque. The car weighs 2822 fully loaded and has nearly 50/50 balance left to right and from front to back is the same as stock. I will have a video of this thing in action after the hood is done.

I love these engines.. I wish they'd sit a little better in the engine bay though. I would have done this swap too.

why does the engine sit so high? Tony Angelo's sat completely under a flat hood.

Tony Angelo had a 4 speed dogbox transmission that was different dimensions than the stock trans and of course he modified the mounting of this transmission in the tunnel. Different driveshaft and so on. I did no cutting or welding. The motor literally sits in the same spot as the fa20. Its just 3 inches taller.

That engine compartment is super tidy. Nice job! No way not to have brace go all the way through the hood???

The motor I am running is a 2az-fe. I did not want the 2ar for various reasons. Availability, price, the fact that it has a plastic oil filter housing. I am using the stock clutch disc designed for the transmission input shaft and an act pressure plate designed for the motor as well as the stock flywheel for the motor. I have a hydraulic release bearing kit from Money Shift Racing, I just have not put it in yet. I'm going to wait until the stock release bearing gives up.The way I designed the adapter plate everything fits like a glove.

Normally an adapter plate adds distance between the donor engine and the stock transmission. Because of this, the splines on the input shaft don't fully fit on the clutch disc, and the end of the input shaft doesn't reach the pilot bearing. Usually this is accommodated by making a custom pilot bearing piece and a thickened flywheel. As far as the clutch cylinder, I was having a major brain fart, thinking the cylinder mounted on the edge of the engine (which would require some consideration with a swap), and not on the transmission. I've pulled my tranny, so I should have known better.
