So we did the conversion and everything has been working perfectly which exception of cruise control. Nothing happens when I try and turn the cruise on. Any thoughts?

CC is not dependant on the cluster at all. are you saying that your pressing the CC and the ECU does keep the speed and the light doesnt show up? or the CC wont work at all?

I didn’t think it was... but it was working fine prior the cluster change. It’s not functioning at all. No lights/indicators and not holding speed.

Guess I’ll have to start looking at other causes/issues...everything else is functioning perfect! 🤔😏

Thanks! I never even thought about the fuse. We were messing around in the fuse panel for some other things so fingers crossed that's all it is!

Ok so just read through the whole thread and it was asked A few times but have seen an update on the question in the last few pages...

So... has there been any progress on enabling the live g-meeter on the usdm brz while maintaining the brz animation? I would love to be able to get what the rest of the world got on my 17pp BRZ....

So guys!!! big thing, i finally got around to get myself a flash programmer to be able to read the flash connected to the main chip. Found out the animations, fonts and most of the UI is saved there. So in theory almost everything, is stored there. and the eeprom just saves the settings like milage, trip meter, some values in the car like settings and if it should display the GT86 or the BRZ. Funny thing though is that the updated models "2019" have both the BRZ and the GT86 stuff. But the 2017 BRZ clusters only have the BRZ domestic values and two GT86 values of other RHD markets.

So here you guys go. IF anyone out there could reverse engineer how the data is saved in there. the animations boot logo. i think we can even replace the GT86 logo with the BRZ one and have the G meter stay there. But thats only if we can figure out how it stores the animations.

FYI, the TRD version of these cluster dont have anything special in the logo. Only the GR version, STI version, or the GR (white) version are the variables.
