I drove 25 miles knowing that the tighter I turned, the more likely the diff would lock so I drove slow and dealt with tailgaters. |

REAL leather steering wheel with black stitching. Thanks to 86WORX. Red stitching is getting the axe. Saddle brown seats in the future as well. |

Super-Klasse runabout knob. Nice weight vs OEM, and the leather and stitching are top notch. https://super-klasse.com/products/runabout-shift-knob Last edited by tehShirt; 04-04-2019 at 03:36 PM. Reason: spelling |

I was driving home and I was behind a truck on a single lane highway. I was behind the truck for a couple miles keeping my distance because it looked like stuff was going to fall out of it. Once it turned into two lane road, I spend up to pass the truck, I kid you not, something orange (and plastic) flew out from the right side of the truck, hit my front tire, then left paint marks and dents along the drive side of my car. I couldn't believe it. I was pretty mad the whole way home and I thought about getting the license plate of the truck, but I decided not to. When I got home, I saw the damage and luckily, I was able to wipe off all of the orange paint and there was no scratched paint - it blew my mind because the object left some nice size dents. I called a few places and settled on a guy in Baltimore. I called him on a Friday and got me in on Monday - he even let me use his wifi while I was waiting. He did a fantastic job and now my 6 month old car looks as good as new!
If you're looking for dent repair around Baltimore, I recommend Arslan at https://www.arsdentrepair.com/. |

Did yours cause issues with the reverse lockout or have they fixed that? If I tightened mine the whole way down I couldn't get into reverse. They sent a jamb nut to remedy this but it made the knob sit way up and expose the white plastic collar on the threads. I ended up just keeping it one full turn up from tight and added some medium loctite to the threads. |
