This, times 100000. I had no trouble on the Scion Drive event AutoX course getting super close to the cones with out hitting them because of these.

Basically it lets you know where the wheels are in relation to the road, super useful for those Apex's

Would rather have front fenders that are flat and angle down like on the FT-86 concept I.
well the humps actually there on purpose to direct air over the car for stability at high speeds, little fins here and there can be found around the car for the same purpose the car has a .28 Cd because of all these cosmetic tweaks

also the arches help the driver know where the front tires are

the height of the hood(center) is for pedestrians... lol :P

If you have ever sat in a Toyota 2000GT, the view is very similar, where the long hood line and flowing bulges on the hood is always reminding you that this is not a delivery van. The Lexus LFA carries this trait too...

I don't know about performance driving and serving as tire locator as when we are racing on the track, we are trained to look much further ahead at speeds, and in gymkhana, we already have a sense of where the contact patch is located by sheer tactile sensation, which is also excellent on this car.

But the view forward on the FRS is nicely thought out for the driver emotions, and as such there is a meaning behind why the exterior design team went with such articulation, which is not common today in light of aerodynamic designs and functions dictating over the conventional efficiency we all have come to prioritize.
I want to applaud you for summarizing why this car is so special. From a know-nothing 17-year-old that dreams of having this car before heading to college, i thank you
