Yes, all cars have plastic ontop and on some of the edges like doors. Interior is covered in plastic sheeting. Rims also covered. I have photos of my car when it was pre-PDI if you were interested.

Edit: looking back at the photos, the antenna wasn't attached to mine when it came in covered in plastic.

I guess start an official owner's thread like the Limited Series, but I hope there will be some way to distinguish... but as I posted elsewhere, it's the fact that I have on order and will receive essentially a, "...USDM Toyota GT86 Limited..." I will make it my own... since the Monogram was so speculated, I'm just feeling the angst of not knowing how I know what number I have... hehehehe

Congrats and good luck...
As soon as you do fully take custody, I wouldn't mind learning build date of yours, as mine was informed to me via VIN as 12/26/2014 and I'm hoping it's sitting in New York, as we speak... getting through customs, Port, etc... I didn't order anything to be installed at Port Ops... I want to have the Fog Light Control on the stalk. and I want the functional rear fog as well...

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the interior! Mine doesn't arrive in port until the 12th and then it will be another week to 10 days until it's transported to the dealer and made ready for final sale. I got my vin number today and can't wait until I'm behind the wheel!

No worries... if mine doesn't come with them later, I will ask to see yours... I just wanted to know since I see all the snow on his car...

You may never even see it covered in plastic unless you see it coming off the truck, or ask them specifically to not touch vehicle at all when it arrives. Usually it's taken off, and washed right when it arrives. This is also the time they drill front license plate frame if your state requires it. I asked them to not drill into bumper but instead into the lower grill.

Have we forgotten about the antenna part that everyone's been bringing up? So... the Monogram comes with no antenna?

Lol it comes with a regular antenna. It was on the prototype, it's in the official photos same as the rest. From my understanding Monogram took these pics as he first saw it, signed the paper work, drove a bit and that's all he's really looked at. The antennas do no come installed when they first arrive to dealers, it's either not installed yet in image. If you zoom in you can see the black base part but no antenna is screwed on yet.

If you can zoom in on the picture (im on my phone) you can see the base of the antenna. The antenna itself is probably not installed. As @FiRStsc10n stated

Well I can say that the AT is the majority of the transmission choices and that white will be the most popular colour. As FiRStsc10n noted Canada and Puerto Rico do not have full colour choice. I wanted Ultramarine but its sadly not offered so I went with Firestorm as it was the only non boring choice between Raven and Whiteout. I may end up putting blue vinyl on it, but I'll determine that once I get the car.
