I bet this CAI that @Pure Automotive made for the Vortech kit:

could be adapted to this kit without much effort.

I'd honestly like to see a heat shield around that JR intake filter, with something like an HKS intake vent that directs air from the bumper into the heat shield/box that surrounds the intake, instead of having the bare-assed intake filter in the engine bay.

But that's just me. I know that it doesn't really affect performance with regards to air temps going into the throttle body, but still...

Thanks for all the photos Bob; they are very informative. May I ask how the oil for the rotrex is routed? It looks like to me the blower itself, the setrab core, and the tank installed near the brake booster are all involved. Guess there are a lot of lengthy lines?

Look forward to seeing what you do with it!

Exactly, so then why bother? The compression is the part that will heat up the intake charge. The intercooler will make more impact than changing location of the filter. Bay temps drop when the car is moving anyway, and that's when the IC is also at it's most efficient. It's certainly not worth paying a decent amount of money to relocate....

I'm not saying to relocate, but the stock airbox has a slot which draws in air from the bumper. Heat shield the JR kit's intake with air draw from the stock draw in location.... no relocation of the filter needed.

The Rotrex is the pump. That small black thing between the reservoir and the rotrex is a filter.

Thanks for posting some details, and info on this kit. Like the fact you are not even bothering with E85 either.

* I see plenty of things here I have questions about but one thing I don't like is the Supercharger oil cooler location, it's going to make fitting a larger radiator a problem based on those photos.

* Adding an oil cooler on top of this is going to make it a bit questionable.
Oil Cooler> Intercooler > Rotrex Oil Cooler > Radiator > Intake Filter
That is going to be quite the stack up there. I don't like what I saw in terms of coolant and oil temps with my setup after extended runs even with larger radiator.

With that said:
* Yeah power is great but would like to see some track logs showing temps over a 20-40 minute session of coolant and oil temps. My guess is you are going to have to drop cooling fan activation points much lower.

(Not being negative just stating some obvious questions)

Adding a radiator and oil cooler might not be that hard. If you us a radiator with a built in oil cooler. That will free up room the next question would be the size of the core and of the Rotrex cooler will still fit.

I think with a little adjuctments it just might fit but will be tight

Cool

I wonder if the Robispec oil & water cooler-in-one would fit with this kit
