Drifting and car control at the Thunderhill skid pad?

Looking for people to share the Thunderhill skid pad with. It's a large area where we can setup multiple courses at the same time. Cost is $162.50 per person if we are a group of four. I've scheduled skid pad days with FT86 members twice in the past.

If no one in the group has much experience drifting, then maybe not. I think SpeedSF has instructors at their drift events. If there are some guys in the group with experience drifting, then yes and I prefer the small group over a traditional drift event. The fundamentals are pretty simple, it's just practice practice practice. I'm a novice.

Currently aiming for August 19, but it could be any available date. Weekends usually works best for most, but I'm also OK with week days. You can take a look at available dates on their website: https://www.thunderhill.com/event-schedule.

BUMP! I am actually planning a drift/car control day at Thunder Hill skidpad for a WEEKDAY towards end of this month or next month, there are several dates open! Need at least 2 more people. Price will end up being somewhere between $160- $190 per person. Helmet required.

Anyone interested?

Boy, I remember when I was very young and in the SCCA years ago and doing a lot of fund raisers to build that track. Wish I could take the lotus out. Maybe next time in Cal.
