Remember this is a 'DIY'-type solution, not from major turbo companies.
No yea I understand what you're saying. I'm saying when the valve is open, the twin entries are useless.

BMW or Subaru need to hurry the f*** up with their electric turbo thing, it makes the nerd in me cry when I see the tiny donut sized turbos that cars come with

I'll be super happy if this gets released in 2014....later would be better so I can pay off most of my brz for this sti. Could be a base price of low $30k.

I would be shocked if Subaru didn't develop this engine to be a 2.5 liter from the start. Historically they have had 2.0L and 2.5L engines. If they are going to make a new engine ground up, they would probably have different displacements in mind. 2.0L=200HP, 2.5L=250HP. Kinda makes sense. If they stay NA then something dramatic would have to happen with the 2.0L engine to make 250HP. That something is RPMs. Without increasing RPMs pretty dramatically a 2.0L engine is just not going to make a ton of power. HP = Torque * RPM. By far the easiest and cheapest way for them to make more power is to increase displacement. I hope I am right, because I can think of nothing better than this car with 2.5L engine under the hood. All I know is when they build one, there will be a BRZ on the used market. I love mine, but 25% more power should sounds good.

Huh well I don't think anyone's made an intake manifold yet, which would certainly be able to increase power somewhat, nor has anyone made any cams yet, but full exhaust and tuned I think they've made about 20hp more. So a tad over 220hp maybe, about right for a peak slightly over 7000rpm. If cams, and both intake and exhaust manifolds are matched to put power at right under the rev limit, so that it gets maybe like 170lb-ft torque at like 7200rpm, that would be a little over 230hp, but your powerband would kinda suck.

I could see this happening for a higher performance NA model and I'll be curious to see if any tuners try modding a FB25 shortblock to fit the FA20 heads. Unfortunately, I think more people are going to focus on FI over NA tuning.
