While changing my oil, I finally installed a fumoto drain valve! I was very hesitant at first as I could not determine the clearance of the valve to the skid plate. But there is roughly a 1/4" of space. And while I do have some scuffs on my plate, they are all from a single extreme moment of evading an object. I look forward to seeing how this does on my next oil change!

This drain valve definitely looks like it fits within the skid plate clearance space.. It also looks nicely installed.. Good job.

I will say, my first time using it, I forgot to close the valve, so I dumped a quart of new oil into my drain pan before I realized it "man, this car is thirsty..." Also, that plastic piece that "secures" the valve lever, this is a new addition (my Lexus has this too). I never had a problem with the valve "just opening up." I think Fumoto did this just to pacify some of the skeptics. |

I also look forward to draining my oil now! I'll probably get the drain tube before I do it.

Even though I've had some issues with the OP flange bolts coming undone on track (tricky design), my A350 is still my favorite modification on my car. Curious to hear how you like the 400. |

I choose the CS400 since it has a little more down low and I daily my car. As well, the cost was a little more justifiable than getting a coated A350 with the sacrifice of a few ponies up top. I should be getting it installed later in the week and then begin data logging with Zach @ CSG. I have something else I'm wanting to install since I'm on lock down thanks to the SARS-Cov-2 virus going around.
