Agree. Best mod I've done to my car.

You pulled them out of your pants went with a stick. Good choice. You will enjoy the stick as you get used to it.

And whats with the damn snow? It's in the 80s here.

RichardsFRS, this post may make more sense over in the "random thoughts" thread.

That is a great dealer with a good salesperson what actually knows about this car!. When i bought my BRZ and the salesperson was giving me a tour of the car and stuff, he mentioned that the VSC Sport was for more throttle lol (and i was thinking "yeah thats not accurate")

When you switch to VSC sport a different MAP is executed but I dunno about "more throttle".

No it isn't, it just makes the stability control kick in a little later

Unfortunately people put cheapest gas in their leased vehicles anyways doesn't matter what car maker says, I don't think the car ever complaints.

Go ahead put 98 octane if you'd like, you still ain't gonna feel the power in traffic.

Add a little more throttle, and let the clutch out with a little more slip. A lack of torque down low means you need to bring the revs up a bit - with practice it'll be smooth and you'll feel like a pro!

Coincidentally - having a louder exhaust makes this easier to do! it's much easier to hear the engine working and know at which point she wants to fully grab...
