Michelin Pilot Super Sport 17 inch

Greetings from Austria,
Tried to contact Michelin on that topic but no response so far so here is just a quick question to the people running those tires.
Could somebody approve whether or not the 17 inch versions of the Super Sports got E-Marks (euro-approval) on their sidewall?
Unfortunately Michelin seems to offer them only in 18 inch and upward sizes here in Austria and I'd like to find out if there is a any chance on importing and running them legally here.
Maybe they could even be purchased directly via Michelin if they are not exclusive to the US market.

To the people not familiar with E-Markings or what to look for:
It's a capitalized E and an additional number inside a small circle and can usually be found directly after the DOT mark.

Thanks in advance :happy0180:

I don't run those so I have no clue. However, TireRack is usually very helpful. I'm sure you could call or e-mail them with your question.

Thanks I'll give it a try.
Allready searched for some pics of the tires in 17 inch sizes with google and on TireRack too but couldn't pinch my eyes hard enough to actually make out what I'm looking for.

I've looked into that a couple of months ago and yes, they seem to have the euro-approval. I don't understand why Michelin doesn't offer them in 17 to us european customers

Anyway the Super Sport range is supposed to grow up, so i hope it's just a matter of time until we get more sizes, including some 17's.

Regards from Spain

Yea, I am sad they don't have 235/40/17 as I think that will be a very popular size for this car since a lot of people will be going 17x8 or 18x8

I have the Super Sports in stock 215/45/17 size. Put them on with only 10 miles on the car. Yes it does have an E2 within a circle. I hope that helps.
