That probably includes haul away of the old ones, and that's not a half bad price for a full set of appliances, just for that.

It's not just up front costs either. Sealing your garage / driveway? Now that there is more space it costs more. "But I was going to use that space one way or another" simply means you were already going to absorb the cost, not that the cost = $0.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I was already going to absorb the cost. It would be my daily or a boat/camper in the garage if not the sports car. Its kind of like saying you have to factor in your internet and electric bills when you figure out your total cost of streaming media. Sure it is part of the cost but you were going to have them anyway whether or not you got a Netflix account, right?

Nope. We sold the old ones. The $100 was just to deliver. They didn't even take the packaging away.

Not sure how you guys get away without at least a 2 car garage plus additional car storage elsewhere.

Or maybe it's just me?

I have never had a garage in my life. Work was always done outside or at a borrowed shop.

LOL No it has always worked out fine. I did 3 frame off restorations without ever having my own garage or shop. I must dig through my old pics and see if I can find any of the 58 Chev body swinging from a tree like a lynching victim.

A true shade tree mechanic! My Dad and I did everything from Engine swaps to pig and deer cleaning swinging from the back tree of the house I grew up in. I miss those days living in Suburbia.

I mean, I do but maybe I'm strange. I was simply pointing out that sunk cost != no cost.

By additional car storage you mean another 7 car garage somewhere else? I think the BRZ was the only car you've actually gotten rid of instead of putting it out to pasture with the others.

lmao, it's a 30 year old Corolla, it is a piece of shit.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat for the right price if I had the space, I'd love to have a nice one, I'm positive driving it would put a huge smile on my face and I'd love every minute of it. But objectively it's a piece of shit and the amount of people that know what it is is maybe 0.05% of the worlds population.

I'm not even going to try to understand what the rest of that pseudo political garbage was, but if you pm me your address I can donate a square foot of tinfoil to your hat.

Nope. It is about 5 feet off the ground so new floor pans can be welded in. I should be dead really.

Yep, reminds me of back-in-the-day, we were butchering a cow that was strung up by it's feet on a cross member in the barn.

My older female cousin, who was a nosey, hands on, type of girl, wanted to watch. I figured she would leave after my grandfather was bleeding the dead cow and drinking some of the blood from a tin cup.

Noooo ....... she stuck around as I wheeled the wheelbarrow into place to receive the innards as they were scooped out of the cow. My job was to wheel them out to the hogs for them to eat.

On the second load, which included the gonads, she reached down and picked one of them up and asked me what it was. I told her ...... as she was standing there holding it ....... she screamed, dropped it and ran into the house ...... where she belonged in the first place ......

Sorry for the ramble ........

I bet a few woman in town wouldn't want to be caught dead in one of those.

You should try. It is like brain exercise.

Don't need it. You should tell your mom next time there is a family roast, it for some reason tastes better letting it settle under tin foil.
