Yeah the 300zx, Rx7, Vr-4 and Supra were all competing with each other.

I'm hoping the base model is 49k. That's what the current z4 starts at.

Car companies really aren't bound to any 1 single performance category anymore. Rental special mustang with a V6? 25K. GT-350 track monster? $60K or more.

With a wide body, massive wing, carbon fiber, and other performance goodies, they could push the thing into $100K territory. Just like the M4 GTS. $130K is a big bump over the standard 4-series with a turbo 4.

some people think the M2 engine could be use for a possible entry level model.

It looks like the m2 starts at 51k and weighs roughly 3400lbs. So maybe Toyota will make a lighter m2 that costs roughly the same?

I know this is blasphemy but... after letting it settle in for a while and constantly staring at all the FT-1 pen!s nose renderings by VH Supra26 (no offense bro they are awesome especially for paint), I think I like the Jalopnik MKII/MKIII 80's angular style throwback front end the best.

Of course I'm a little bias cuz I did own an 85 Celica-Supra back in the day.

I'm pretty surprised no one have mentioned bout BMW 3.0 CSL and look at the design... yes, it's ugly as fck, but it does follow a lot of design from FT-1

The two cars are built on the same platform. Isn't it reasonable to think that the two cars will have similar interiors?
