It won't come out.

What are my options? I tried putting bolts half threaded in and hitting with my 4lb hammer. Only other thought is to get a air hammer and try to hit the bolts with that?

Can't believe I haven't been able to find a trick to get this POS out.

What won't come out? The dust shield still stuck on there?

Yea, I bought some spare bolts to put in the holes and beat the shit out of them to try and force it through not working. Used a ton of penetrating oil all over the place.

That doesn't help its just like the manual instructions. "remove four bolts and pop out bearing assembly"

Wish it was that easy

I read that thread 5 times at least hoping I missed something. Seems other had the same issue no one posted back if they found a solution.

From the looks of it the dust shield isn't bolted on but just squeezed between the hub and the mount. You can see where it sits by the clean spot in the pic.
Maybe if @Dave-ROR isn't toooo hungover he can pipe up with a tip.

Yea would love that. I actually used that pic for reference because in my hammering it so hard part of the brake shoe fell off and I didn't know where it belonged

After spending a LOOOOOOOONG time on some bolts when I installed my coilovers (I winter drive my car) I am really hoping I never have to do this.

Good luck.

Have you tried heating up the dust shield with a torch to get it to expand and then hitting it with BFH?
