Smart key?

Hey all,

Just wondering if you're at your driver door with your smart key in your pocket and your passenger reaches their door first, does it unlock or does it only work for the side you're on?

Thanks!

My experience only on the side I touch will unlock when I open the door.

I have programmed the car to unlock both sides when I touch the driver side door.

This was taken from here on the forum, had it in an email.

For the limited: Open the driver door with the car off, hold down the lock and panic buttons on the key fob for approx 5 seconds. When you let go the car should beep. Now both doors will unlock when you touch the door handle. Not sure if that works with the premium.

Thank you so much, I was hoping I wouldn't have to get a stealer to program that on for me. So much nicer for the passenger to have me unlock their door instead of waiting for me to get in.

Tried this the other day when I was showing the car to my niece. If the key is in your pocket and the passenger grabs the handle it won't open. But I too did the mod that unlocks both when I grab the handle.

Works like a charm! Is it the same procedure to change it back?
