I believe it will, yes. The foam block and the crash bar are pretty restrictive so any free flowing air to that pocket where the filter is should help, in my opinion

If the inlet was directly in front of the filter I think it would make an improvement since it's getting a direct air supply, but just throwing more air into there might cause turbulence and such to the air that's already in there. I obviously don't know for sure though. Just throwing it out there for thought.

I believe this kit has its own snorkel kind of thing that leads air directly to stock air filter. So i think this one is best for stock air box or other intake system that has same air box spot.

I was assuming he wasn't going to use that part since that would be really pointless with the Perrin intake.
