I don't know or have heard of anyone that has chosen the GC over the FR-S. I know PLENTY of people that couldn't wait any longer for the FR-S and chose the GC. But none that have bought their GC while the FR-S has been available to buy.

This is an arrogant point of view. It reflects a mentality that either everyone shares your values and goals or that your values and goals are superior to those who disagree with you.

I beg to differ.

You have no idea how much space you have in the hatch of a C5, do you. Yes, the C5Z is short on trunk space. It'll still carry a set of long tube headers and midpipes for the car. Or this.

A C6 hatch will take plenty of stuff.

Trust me, it isn't all of us. I got mine as a hand-me down from my grandparents so we got it for almost nothing. If it wasn't for this, I would be driving a late 90s civic. So much out there that I feel like I'm missing.

Genesis Coupe owners are just jealous because their car of choice is inferior in almost every way.

DAMMIT. That's twice in 3 days. I really need to stop judging posts on this board by the lowest common denominator. The nuthuggers have colored my vision severely.

Lol. Some of us are actually intelligent and just prefer to troll every now and then

Happens to me a few times per week

I also just watched this whole series and felt the need to troll as I am an IT guy myself

You're welcome to come over to GenCoupe then. Obviously a different side of the coin. Don't make me ban you over there though.

Haha, yeah, I tend to kinda be all over the place. Like I've said in the past, I don't really hold loyalties. I'm a car enthusiast, not a brand enthusiast, and there are plenty of vehicles that deserve praise. Hyundai did an pretty darn good job for their first try.

that's not true. I would have liked the extra hp and 100,000 mile warranty the GC has. Also their interior and steering wheel controls aren't too shabby either. I've never driven the GC coupe so I can't compare on those aspects.

Im sorry saying the genesis is inferior in everyway is gotta be the dumbest things ive ever seen. Weight and transmission is the only downside to the genesis. saying inferior in everyway is being arrogant. Genesis 2013 has a far superior interior. BRZ interior is on par with a 2012 track the FRS is not.

Saying 1 car is better than the other in a certain way is one thing, saying better in everywhere means you never driven anything else.

Whats funny is the genesis came to the U.S as a 2010 model and had few problems for being a 1st generation. The frs/brz has been out for 4 months and has 3x more problems. Stop trash talking cars you know nothing about

The 2013 GC is a real nice car but it has its share of problems, if you look at the GC forums they have complaints just like every other car. Nothing major, the big one seems to be some rattling associated with the turbo and various other questionable noises. Also the engine is tuned very rich and it causes the exhaust to be sooty.

I liked the one I drove and was tempted to buy it, someone else snapped it up first. Now I own a BRZ and I am very pleased with it, but pretty sure I would have been happy with a GC as well. I'd definitely like to have that horsepower.
