Electric cutout motors fail.

I opted for a cable driven one. Open for track days closed for street.

And yes bumper doesn't melt. Tested on track already.

That's the only benefit for a lot of exhaust on our cars and there is more then a few over $600.

catbacks do add power, however SOUND does not. i would rather spend the $200 on items that actually benefit the car in performance, suspension, exterior, interior and etc.

The 1-5HP catback claims fall into regular dyno variance.

Has anyone had and issues with bumper melting? I'm asking because I am considering doing this on a turbo setup. I'd like to run the stock catback exhaust to keep the noise level down while opening the cutout for track events.
