The stock airbox really reduces the supercharger whine. Robi was running an aluminum cold air intake for a while and that is what you see in his track and dyno videos. Now he is running a stock air box like I am and the whine is muted.

Just an FYI to those looking for max whine... get an aluminum intake pipe. :happy0180:

Unrelated, starting to smell burning clutch after 3rd or 4th gear pulls usually up-hill. Uh oh... I know what my next mod should be....

Already got this sitting in my garage:

We'll see if the choice to go ProLite instead of StreetLite was wise... I can see it going both ways.

I'll be interested in your feedback if you install as I was planning on going the same route (+ carbon driveshaft).

Tom
I would love to see one that could also work with the TRD intake.

The CF driveshaft is sitting next to it, along with other fun stuff.

We have that set-up on our car, it's a great way to loose rotating weight and keep all the extra power on the ground.

poop....one of the first things I did was get rid of that air box. I don't know if my ears can handle anything louder than this already is now.

You'll lose almost all of the engine noise from the intake because the SC will be in the way. But you'll gain SC whine.
