I mean, all I want is one of the 105 GT40's produced between 1966 -1969. They are Lighter weight than a twin @ 2,682 lb
I would finish my 40 year old rebuild project! I still have the starting point for it in the basement.

Too late. The lowrider fad of the 80s cleared anything salvageable right up. A rotted out shell sells here for $3,000 to $5,000. A good car will run around $35K and a top line one up to about $80K.
Funny when we talk about cars going up in value since before the lowrider thing took off you could pick up a decent 64 Impala for under $1,000.

If the twins are going to go up in value they need to appear in a movie or some high profile fad in the next 10 years or so.

We'll have to come up with something.

Basically all just speculation but between the arrival of the A90 Supra and Subaru changing to a single global platform, it gives me a feeling that it's unlikely the twins will see another generation. At the very least, I can't see the car continuing in it's current form, if they make another generation at all.

If a lower trim Supra becomes available for only a few thousand over the current 86 and is faster, continuing the 86 will be a hard sell, wouldn't it?

Everybody calm down. We have no clue what is real yet and every clickbait that posts is adding their own level of bullshit.

Since I do not feel like repeating the same thing in the inevitable 100 threads to come.

By the time we get through 3 or so more clickbaits they will be saying that Toyota murdered Subaru in their sleep and have run off to marry BMW for their money.
