Its actually a pretty good turnout with a large variety of cars. These pics are just some of the most unique ones that were there

Nah. It ain't snobbish or anything like having to fit in, it's about us meeting up together as enthusiasts of 86 cars! We have vehicles not readily available or known of by the general public and that makes our cars unique and plenty of people look at them. Some people have never seen BRZs or FR-S in person and C&R gives them the opportunity. Several folks there were waiting for theirs to come in (as I was several months ago). I even met an instructor from Harris Hill who was very interested in owning an 86 car himself. You'll definitely enjoy the conversations people strike up and it's fun being with fellow 86 owners. Next time we need some reinforcements to come out and join in as a couple of us may not be able to attend in November!

I'd love to see your FR-S as have never seen that color in person!

Next weekend there may be an opportunity for us to drive our cars at the Harris Hill track in San Marcos for $35 (a Mazda event but, we have been invited) and Nov. 11th is the next Retama auto-x and several 86 cars likely will be participating in that. Stay tuned as there will likely be additional discussion this week.

Beyond that, there are some ongoing plans for an exclusive "on location" photo shoot meet for us and possibly a scenic drive in the hill country in the next month or two if we can get some experienced people to help organize and take the lead. Could be we'd do a practice trial run first and then have an official event in the Spring as the Winter months are fast approaching. Should be fun for everyone even if we only have a half dozen folks with the time or interest to participate!

My son's old car blew a head gasket last week and he ended up buying a new DGM Impreza Sport LTD today at North Park Subaru! We were there taking delivery at the same time the new owner of this Lightening Red BRZ Premium 6MT was taking delivery. This vehicle is #10 of the ten BRZs North Park was allocated until November. First Lightening Red I've seen in person. Very sharp!!!!
